IMI'S 1ST NORTH AMERICAN YOUNG LEADERS' CONFERENCE
A Holistic Approach to Leadership, Education & Community Health
Conference Program
The First IMI North American Young Leaders' Conference was designed to develop the leadership capacity of students and younger professionals. While leadership skills are important to nurture in all ages, this first conference catered for an audience comprised of high school students, undergraduate & graduate students and young professionals (a few years into their chosen careers).
The majority of IMI YLC sessions were equally relevant to this diverse audience regardless of career choice. The skills developed and topics explored through IMI YLC will translate across all disciplines, like communication skills, time management and work-life balance. Of course, there were also specific educational guidance sessions for particular levels and fields through parallel sessions as necessary.
